Fluencity charges a 5% platform fee on creator payouts. The fee is deducted from approved creator compensation when payouts are processed. Brands fund the full contract value up front; Stripe processing fees stay separate.

When does Fluencity charge the platform fee?
Fluencity charges a 5% platform fee on creator payouts. The fee is deducted from the approved creator compensation at the time the payout is processed — after the brand approves the deliverable.
Do brands pay to post opportunities?
No. Brand accounts are free and can post one creator opportunity at a time. Brand Pro is optional and unlocks more active opportunities, the creator marketplace, outreach tools, the application pipeline, and ambassador programs.
Do creators have to pay to join?
No. Creator accounts are free. You can build a profile, browse opportunities, apply, deliver, and get paid without subscribing. Creator Pro is optional and only required if you want to apply to Startup Collaboration posts.
How do approval-based payouts work?
Brands fund the deal up front when it is accepted. Funds stay locked inside the deal room until the creator submits the deliverable and the brand approves it. Once approved, the payout (minus the platform fee) becomes eligible for release.
What happens if work is rejected?
Most rejections become revisions inside the deal room — the creator updates and resubmits the work. If a deliverable cannot be resolved through revisions, either side can open a dispute. Fluencity reviews the contract, the submitted work, and the deal-room communication record before deciding the outcome per the Refund Policy.
What happens if a creator does not deliver?
If the deadline passes without a submission, the brand can open a dispute. Funded deals are protected: the brand can request a refund inside the deal room, and Fluencity follows the path described in the Refund Policy.
Is there a discount for annual billing?
Yes. Annual plans save 20% compared to monthly billing. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time.
What countries support payouts?
Payouts are live across the current Stripe Connect self-serve corridor. Creators in additional Stripe Connect countries can sign up, build a profile, and be discovered while payout activation expands market by market.
What happens if my country is not supported for payouts yet?
You can still sign up, build your profile, set your audience and category mix, and be discovered. Payouts will not be enabled until a payout corridor is live for your country. For Nigeria specifically, profiles are open but payouts stay on the waitlist until a non-Stripe corridor is in place.
